[34]And [mention] when We said to the angels, "Prostrate before Adam"; so they prostrated, except for Iblees. He refused and was arrogant and became of the disbelievers.
[35]And We said, "O Adam, dwell, you and your wife, in Paradise and eat therefrom in [ease and] abundance from wherever you will. But do not approach this tree, lest you be among the wrongdoers."
[36]But Satan caused them to slip out of it and removed them from that [condition] in which they had been. And We said, "Go down, [all of you], as enemies to one another, and you will have upon the earth a place of settlement and provision for a time." - Quran Al-Baqarah(The Cow) 2:34-36 (islam)
Have you not seen those who claim to have believed in what was revealed to you, [O Muhammad], and what was revealed before you? They wish to refer legislation to Taghut, while they were commanded to reject it; and Satan wishes to lead them far astray. - Quran An-Nisa(The Women) 4:60 (islam)
Chapter: The characteristics of Iblis (Satan) and his soldiers
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Yawning is from Satan and if anyone of you yawns, he should check his yawning as much as possible, for if anyone of you (during the act of yawning) should say: 'Ha', Satan will laugh at him." - Hadith Al Bukhari 3289 (islam)
Chapter: Whoever saw the Prophet (saws) in a dream
Narrated Anas:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever has seen me in a dream, then no doubt, he has seen me, for Satan cannot imitate my shape. - Hadith Al Bukhari 6994 (islam)
Uthman b. Abu al-'As reported that he came to Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and said:
Allah's Messenger, the Satan intervenes between me and my prayer and my reciting of the Qur'an and he confounds me. Thereupon Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said:, That is (the doing of a) Satan (devil) who is known as Khinzab, and when you perceive its effect, seek refuge with Allah from it and spit three times to your left. I did that and Allah dispelled that from me. - Hadith Muslim 2203a (islam)
Hadith Muslim 2262 (en en2) If anyone sees a dream which he does not like, he should spit on his left side three times
Jabir reported Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) as saying:
If anyone sees a dream which he does not like, he should spit on his left side three times, and seek refuge with Allah from the Satan three times, and let him turn over from the side on which he was sleeping. - Hadith Muslim 2262 (islam)
