Chapter: What is said about committing suicide
Narrated Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak:
The Prophet (p.b.u.h) said, "Whoever intentionally swears falsely by a religion other than Islam, then he is what he has said, (e.g. if he says, 'If such thing is not true then I am a Jew,' he is really a Jew). And whoever commits suicide with piece of iron will be punished with the same piece of iron in the Hell Fire." Narrated Jundab the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "A man was inflicted with wounds and he committed suicide, and so Allah said: My slave has caused death on himself hurriedly, so I forbid Paradise for him." - Sahih:Al Bukhari:1364 (islam)
-How come Mohamed in this hadith is clearer than the Quran?

[29]O you who have believed, do not consume one another's wealth unjustly but only [in lawful] business by mutual consent. And do not kill yourselves [or one another]. Indeed, Allah is to you ever Merciful.
[30]And whoever does that in aggression and injustice - then We will drive him into a Fire. And that, for Allah, is [always] easy. - Quran:An-Nisa 4:29:30 (islam)

- Is it better than the Bible (Romans 14:8)?
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's. - Bible:NT:Romans 14:8 (bible)
-How come this is the only verse about suicide in the Bible?
- How come the sin of suicide just appeared in the Middle Ages?
- Is God really against suicide?
[3]And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.
[4]Then said Saul unto his armourbearer, Draw thy sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armourbearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it. - Bible:OT:1 Samuel 31:3:4 (bible)
-How come suicide is a sin today?
- Or is it still OK to protected yourself from uncircumcised enemy?
